Adoption Update! WE NEED HELP QUICKLY TO FINISH THE ADOPTION

Oh My! So much time has passed since our last post on here. Please forgive me! To be fair, we have 5 precious kiddos, we home school, we have a farm with a dairy cow, 3 goats, 2 Heritage Large Black Pigs and about 65 chickens! So with all of that, I barley have time to read or even get on the computer let alone compile a blog post. But here is an update for all of you that keep up with our adoption. In the beginning of April we received our I-800 approval from USCIS! That approval was what we needed to get something called an Article 5 from the Embassy in Riga, which we needed to schedule Civil Court. At the same time as all this was happening we learned that we had some big problems with the boys immigration status and spent the next month emailing and on the phone with our congressman, people from the Department of State and USCIS. In the end, we will have to wait for ajudication when we return to Riga with the boys on the last trip. If it seems I am being vague it is because I am....but telling the whole world our specific problem would probably not help our case. We could absolutely use prayers for this though and would appreciate it! On May 29th I, Valerie, traveled to Riga for a short trip to have our Civil Court hearing. I love Riga so much! It is such an amazing city and as soon as I arrived I felt at home. On another blog post I would love to share all the amazing people I encountered on the trip and how God allowed me to share his love for the orphan with so many people. The court hearing went amazingly well! We were granted permission to become the legal parents of the boys and their names were officially changed. There is a 20 day wait where someone can come forward and want the child, but we don't see this happening. On June 20th the boys will be officially officially ours! Than it takes at least a week for our facilitator to get the new birth certificates with our names as the parents and the boys new names. After that the new passports are ordered. Our goal was to leave July 6th for Latvia. It will be me, Valerie, Gideon, Zechariah and a sweet young lady from church who is coming to help me with the boys. There is no way I could make the trip alone with my two super active kiddos! So here is our problem that we found out about late last night. The plane tickets for the 3rd and final trip is about $6,988!!! We only budgeted $3,000 and to be honest we thought that would be plenty. When we brought the boys home Our tickets were around $2200 for 2 adults and 2 children! This is about 3 times that!!! We did not know that Europe has a "High" season, and July is it! And they do not discount children's airfare like they do the rest of the year. So we are short about $4,000 for plane tickets. Here is a breakdown of where we are: Plane tickets- $7,000 Lodging for 7 days-$800 Travel in country- $100 Meals- $500 Child Visa Medical Exam- $360 Immigration US Embassy Visa - $460 Total: $9,220 We have: $4,500 We need ASAP:$4,720!!!!!!! Many of you have supported us financially already for either or both of our adoptions and we couldn't have done it without you! We hate to ask for help but we need it, we are done to the wire and we have already taken out a loan to pay for some of our expenses. We are tapped out.
