Well here we are in the last days of June. July is going to be such a busy month with Tyler returning from a 6-month deployment to Afghanistan and moving into a bigger house to hold our future blessings. I am actually attempting to move us here in Italy to another town about 20 minutes away before Tyler comes home!!! I know I am crazy, but it would be such a blessing for him to just come home and relax and not have to move us. We are blessed with great friends who are going to help so I won't be doing it alone.
As for our adoption we are still in the waiting mode. Our dossier is due to CWA , our agency, around September 1, 2010 so they can translate it and than off to Ukraine it goes. Our program adviser said the last four families left within 5 weeks of that time. This puts us going to Ukraine around November 18th!!!
I found out on Sunday that Show Hope http://www.showhope.org/ is giving us a $3100 grant. We applied for this back in February and just heard the news on June 27th!! We feel so blessed by generous people and God who has orchestrated all of this!! We are still are in need of funds to bring home our second child. Here is the breakdown:
The second international fee: $14,000
Estimated lodging, meals and travel in Ukraine: $6,200
Relief Donation: $1,000
GRAND TOTAL $21,200.00
So already we have blessed with $14,500 from grants, our Church Adoption Fund, and wonderful gifts from wonderful friends!!! We are so excited to see what else God has in store for us!! We are still waiting to hear back from Life song Ministries http://www.lifesongfororphans.org on more financial help. Please pray for this!!!
